Follow Suit (followsuit.games) · Effective 29 August 2026

Follow Suit is a place to play card games with friends. We collect as little as that requires, and nothing more.

Playing without an account

You can play everything without signing up. Your display name, settings, saved rule presets, play statistics, and unfinished solitaire deals are stored in your own browser's local storage, on your device. While you are in an online game, our server holds the game's state (cards, seats, scores) so everyone at the table sees the same game; game rooms are deleted within about a day of going quiet.

If you create an account

Accounts exist so your name, saved rule presets, and play statistics can follow you between devices. When you create one we store:

If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and name; we use them the same way and receive no other information from your Google account.

What we don't do

Anonymous counts

To understand what to build, we keep a few simple tallies on our own server: how many online games start and finish, and how many purchases begin and complete. These are totals only, tied to no one; they set no cookies and never leave our server. Solitaire and games against bots run on your device, and we count nothing from them.

Crash reports

If the game hits a bug, a technical crash report is sent to our error-tracking service (Sentry) so we can fix it: the error message, where in the code it happened, your browser type, and the page it happened on. Crash reports contain no gameplay tracking, nothing you typed, and no account information.

Deleting your data

Local data can be cleared through your browser at any time. To delete an account and everything synced to it, email us at followsuit.games@gmail.com from the account's address and we'll remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date.
